April 23, 2023 - Fly to Georgetown for lunch |
||||||
A few of us were flying to Georgetown to lunch today. Before that I got in a quick flight down to Kent Narrows and back. The weather was great.
On the way to Georgetown I passed over yet another private asphalt strip I haven't seen before. It seems like they are proliferating on the Eastern Shore.

On left downwind for runway 28 at Georgetown, I mean Delaware Coastal.
On the ramp at Georgetown.
Chip's 172 is at left. Mark's RV-8 is barely visible behind my RV-7.
Chip had a full load in his 172.

We headed for the Ocean City beaches after leaving Georgetown. That bay or river or prong or cove has a bunch of names; someone else is going to have to figure it out.
